Cylindrical linear voice coil motors have high precision positioning and adjustment applications in vibrating microscope stages due to their high accuracy, fast response and low friction.
Microscope focusing systems require very precise control, especially at high magnification. Conventional motors can have friction or backlash issues that can affect accuracy. Cylindrical linear voice coil motors provide very smooth, backlash-free motion and are ideally suited for use as fine focus adjustment.
The Z-axis control system of the microscope is mainly responsible for fine movements in the vertical direction. In this application scenario, cylindrical linear voice coil motors can be very effective in providing precise Z-axis position control, ensuring image clarity and focus accuracy.
In multipoint imaging and automated observation, cylindrical linear voice coil motors are used to automatically position and adjust the microscope's lens or light source, providing fast and accurate adjustment capabilities for high-throughput experiments and multi-target analysis.
Cylindrical linear voice coil motors are integrated with the vibration microscope's other sophisticated control systems to form an integrated automation platform. This integrated design allows the microscope to achieve a higher level of automation and reduce human error.

The cylindrical actuators of the VCAR series, which make up nearly 80% of the market, can generate high acceleration forces. Peak forces range from 0.7 N to 3000 N. Typically, their stroke lengths are less than 50 mm.
Applications for the VCAR range of actuators include valve actuators, z-axis pick and place, small precise positive displacement metering pumps as well as vibrators and active damping systems.
