Rotary voice coil motors are highly accurate, fast responding, compact and stable motion control capabilities that provide precise positioning and control during 3D scanning.
Rotary voice coil motors are typically used to control the rotation of the 3D scanning head or the angle of the scanning mechanism. Rotary motors are able to provide high control accuracy in a small space and are suitable for applications that require regulation of the laser beam in a 3D laser scanner.
The very fast response time of the rotary voice coil motor allows for rapid changes in the scanning head's attitude to accommodate high-speed scanning needs. During 3D scanning, the scanning angle or position needs to be changed quickly and precisely to capture more point cloud data. The rotary voice coil motor responds to control signals in real time, ensuring a smooth and stable scanning process.
The laser beam in a 3D scanning head often requires fine angular adjustment to scan different angles and surfaces. Rotary voice coil motors provide high-resolution angular control during this process, allowing 3D scanning to capture a fuller range of object details, reducing dead space and increasing data accuracy and integrity.
