Flexible vibrating voice coil motor is a small, extremely responsive linear actuator, based on the Lorentz force principle, which realizes precise displacement or vibration output by controlling the current. Due to its high dynamic performance, simple structure and high control accuracy, it plays an increasingly important role in the robot vision system, and is mainly used in key aspects such as image acquisition, lens focusing and field of view scanning.

In mobile robots or robotic arms equipped with vision systems, vibration motors are commonly used in the camera module's autofocus mechanism to achieve fast, smooth and delay-free focus adjustment. Compared with the traditional stepper motor focusing method, the vibrating voice coil motor has higher focusing speed and accuracy, which is suitable for clear capture of moving targets.
Vibrating motors are also used for lens anti-shake and fine-tuning: they are used in the lens micro-displacement compensation system to stabilize the image and improve the recognition accuracy during the robot movement or working process through the voice coil motors.
